Hello All,
We will be rolling out some MAJOR updates to the software for the forums very soon.
The Good:
This will include some additions like "Dark Mode" which I know some of you have requested. This will also include some updates to the core software that will break our "Threaded View" customization.
Even more robust security built into the platform which means we should be able to have a smoother experience for new users joining and less of a wait for their registrations to be handled.
Tons of new features and the ability for us to tailor the experience of the forums much easier.
The Bad:
After a long effort to make it work with the new software we have decided it is time to sundown the threaded view. This will make updates much easier to stay on top of as it interacts directly with core functions that break over time as patches are made.
To reiterate: the threaded view WILL be going away. Please understand we do not take this decision lightly and did all within our power to keep it but we are unable to make it work within a reasonable amount of time without breaking other necessary tools to manage the forums effectively.
