Looks like an early K. Dad had an E with a 2 row wide just like that. He upgraded to a K with a 3 row narrow. From there, I went to an F2 and now an M3....

I think this is an E. K bin would be wider.

I think you are right....a K would have had the side shield on the right side. It does have a rotary screen, may be an E lll.

I think the EIII bin would also be wider. I've seen several E's in pictures with rotary screens. I don't know if they were updated, or if they were ordered that way. I've not seen one around here. Location of course was a factor, as was the dealer, but I think the "blockman" often influenced how machines were equipped in his area.

I shelled many an acre of corn with our 1967 E Gleaner....This picture is of Dad from 1968.....Probably the best corn run thru it was 80-90 bu per acre..

Then that would have been just like Dad's- the last year of production. Unofficially an EII. But no rotary screen here. It's still in the area. A friend has it now. I later bought an E at auction, and was surprised at all the little changes from my earlier E, to his late one.

It's a late model E.

I am saying E something but not the very last E III. I bought the last ones sold around this area and it had a header control outside the window they to set the fingers on the bean header and also had a larger bin and different cab filter. Sure wish I could find it today, I moved up to K the G the M s and on with Gleaners.
