I just got my manifold back from machine shop,( was pitted real bad). My old friend blasted and coated it for me, a coating he uses on his Mustang collection, Boss 302 and Shelby. He swears by what he uses. Will try and get product name. This stuff looks like cast steel.

GWOC........its called "PORCELAIN", which is a "ceramic". See it on oldtime cars like RolesRoyce, Jaguar, Bugatti, Packard, etc.

Me? I find "hi-temp" aluminum spray paint for BBQ's works for me. .......Dell

I used the above many years ago and it was good.
I baked my part in the oven.

Ceramic coating is the only one. Only problem is that it will likely cost you about twice the price of the manifold to have it done.

Rustoleum makes a Barbecue Grille paint they advertise as being safe to 2000 deg. F.

Works just fine for me, and it's available in most hardware stores. JMHO
