Hi fellow ytr's I have posted in a while but have been reading a lot latly. These two pieces of farm equipment was built by a guy (long gone) several yrs ago. I know the family where they've been inside the sheds for years. If they load heres two photos. One is a self propelled grain drill and the other is a self propelled stack chopper. I guess this guy designed and used several of his homemade equipement. This two pieces are going to a Farm Musueam somewhere cant remember where tho. Anyway here they are. Kinda cool !!

These are only about twenty miles from home. This guy (Marcine) thats his last name was born and raised here in Western Nebraska. I will try and find more info on these.

More info on this equipment

Built Designed by Marcus Caine

He originally had 2 Twin City tractors he repowered with V 12 Pierce Arrow engines , later he put the 2 together back to back and powered each end with a 6-71 Detroit engine. I believe is now in a museum in or near Chicago.

The grain drills were designed by a guy by the name of Marcus Caine. One is a self propelled stubble schredder and the drills are a feild tiller, drills& packer on back. Very cool equipment. All built 60-70 yrs BEFORE NO-TILL was the "Thing" to do.

Looks like he was blessed with ingenuity, forethought, and a supply of parts! Not quite Sound Guard cabs there, though...

I bet the sound of that Detroit with a straight pipe was deafening to say the least on that shredder
