Marvel Schebler carb identification

I also have some numbers on a brass tag on the side of the Marvel Schebler carb off of my Ford 800 that I do not understand and I’m looking to either rebuild or completely replace the original carb?
There is a number 1 with a space and then a 56, which I believe would show it was built in the first month of 1956?
Then a TSX-593, and what looks like an EAF or EAE-9510-E. The confusing part is the last letter E? I can find reference to part numbers EAE-9510-D but nothing referring to a part number EAE-9510-E and it is clearly an E? What is the difference and can I use a carb with part number EAE-9510-D even though my original carb part number is EAE-9510-E?

The TSX593 is the model/size of the carb. If you have an O'Reilly's auto parts store in your area they have or can get you the correct kit with the TSX number

EAE-9510-E is most likely the part number used on the assembly line, which most likely would never match a part number that was sold from the parts department. They used separate part number for the same part on the assembly line vs. the ones sold from the parts department for inventory tax purposes. Every company is required to take inventory for tax purposes once a year, and the parts that were destined to be sold from the parts department are handled differently for taxes than parts awaiting assembly on the assembly line.

TSX-593 is the correct carb for an early 800. EAF-9510-E is the Ford part number although later superceded by TSX-706 EAF-9510-G. See chart below which is from MS regarding Ford carburetors. 1 56 does mean January 1956. A carb that starts with EAE is for the 134 engine not 172 although it would still work.

Is part number starting with EAF indicate it’s a 172 engine?
