Massey 175 orignal generator

I'm looking to find a rebuilt generator for a diesel 175 with tach drive. Currently I have a newer generator but there is nowhere to attach the tach. Any suggestions?
 
Best option is to buy a alternator with the tach drive and eliminate the generator. 175s and 180s both had a 236 Perkins diesel and both had factory alternators in later years. I would call a few bone yards and try to find some factory brackets and change it over (it will be 3 part numbers you would need). I just did this on my diesel 180. It will require you to buy 2 longer bolts for the front of the thermostat housing. One of the bolts is a stud. I pulled that stud and used a bolt in its place but one could always buy a longer stud. If none of these sound appealing and you still want a generator I still have my old generator with the tach drive on it I would consider parting ways with. I will say my gauge didn't work so I can't promise the generator works but the tractor seemed to start most the time (it had other issues and would sometimes require a lot of cranking) so I guess it was charging the battery. If it is not working it can always be rebuilt.
