I am rebuilding a 1970 Massey Ferguson 180 and need some things i cant find from AGCO or the aftermarket sources. So does anyone know where to get a seat shock absorb-er, also what do you call the 3/4 inch threaded seat adjuster swivel pin that increases or decreases the seat torsion. I maybe calling it something different than what it is. any help would be appreciated. CHEERS

The seat shock absorb-er is still available from AGCO. I bought one 2 months ago. The part number does supersede. Original number is 192837M92 and it goes to 192837V92. On Jack's Small Engines it is $55. My local dealer was slightly more. The shock says Gabriel on it and I searched the number on the shock high and low and I can't seem to find it anywhere but AGCO. As for the torsion adjuster I bought a used seat setup from another tractor and made 1 good one. After fixing it and welding up the worn out holes that seat really isn't as bad as I once thought.

Hello
Just wondering if you would happen to know the Gabriel number on the shock...if there is one?
Thanks, Wayne

If you can get me the extended, and compressed center to center measurement of the mounting holes of the shock. Then the inside diameter, and width of the sleeve on each end I can see what I can find that is pretty close (the more accurate the measurements the better).

I did that exercise and purchased 3 for all 3 of my tractor, but the ends were to large to fit the receiver. Update someone did reply and
told me where to get one, but thanks for the help.

New shock purchased from AGCO is Gabriel marked 610222 & 017144. Original shock is Gabriel and marked 55853 & 610222. I'm guessing 610222 is the part number.
