Massey 240

I have a question for the Massey experts. I am looking to buy a 1992 Massey 240 tractor in good condition but I noticed the fuel filter is on the right side of the tractor next to the alternator. Every other Massey 240 I have seen in person and in pictures, the fuel filter is on the left side of the tractor, the same side as the oil filter and muffler.

I was wondering if this is correct, or if it has been re-rigged. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

On my 1997 MF-240-S the filters are on the left side. I'd think it would be easy to tell if it had been farmerized or customized. I can't imagine how a person'd relocate that filter assembly by yourself.

Our 30 Industrial (similar) from the 80's has it on the right, just after the lift pump.

Have a 1989 240, both fuel filters are on the left side.
