I have had mine to 3800 with 15.5s and no aluminum. I think 3600 (sans driver) is probably possible with light wheels and some ingenuity.

I have a lot of new and like new 44 parts,Special parts,high dome M & W pistons,new 4",new head,bigger valves,block,crank,whole tractor set up for pulling,cheap.

I"ve also got some parts and tractor! It broke the cam a couple years ago and I ain"t never put it back together. Big bore big stroke billet rods if you are interested
