I am working on a 2005 tier 3 5460 that went under water I know nothing about Masseys, I am an IH guy, it has the 4 speed main Box, with a reverser on the left side of dash, On the 4 speed shifter there are 2 buttons on the shift lever, are these variable speed controls for each gear ? on the right side of dash it has a rabbit that is lite up and I know the rabbit means fast so I am taking it that when in any selected gear 1 thru 4 it is in high range speed for that gear any help would be appreciated in the working of this transmission , Thank you

At least on my challenger that age which is also an agco with the 4 speed the lever controlling gear will also shift the range you hold the button nearest operator on the end of the lever and push forward that’s a range shift. Push forward without button it’s a gear shift in that range. Not sure what second button you refer to unless yours has the big fist sized handle for big tractors but I doubt in a Massey you would find that. A picture might be worth a thousand words

ok the back button without the white part is another function button, it turns the rabbit off and on, the front white know does nothing, tried hold it down while moving gearshift from neutral to first. no change is speed or dash functions. any Clues ?

It’s yellow is it a pto switch? Often there is a yellow rocker switch off to the right side if you enable that will it switch pto on and off? The black must be a 2 speed like you have found out.
