I need help with the wiring from distributor to spark plug. I have a dead miss on first and forth cylinders. Need to make sure we do not have wires crossed. Thanks

Switch those two wires and see how it runs.

Wiring usually goes 1,3,4,2...Take out no.1 plug and with a piece of wire or a slim screwdriver in the plug hole turn the engine over by hand until you can feel no.1 piston come up to Top Dead Centre (TDC). Check your rotor arm, it should now point to no.1 plug lead then check the arrow( somewhere on the body of the dizzy) to find direction of rotation and sort your leads in the above order.
