.

Looks like 1965, first year of production based on
http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/009/3/3/9331-massey-ferguson-135.html
Serial Numbers by year
1965: 101
1966: 30283

Guessing but FG is probably Ferguson with Gas engine, since the decade around that period was the Massey-Harris-Ferguson and probably others consolidation/dissolution.

Some other lookup sites list serial numbers starting with '64------' and '9A------'
.

Has the pull to stop for diesel, so not a gas job.

(quoted from post at 12:09:29 04/10/21) It is a diesel so any idea what the FG stands for?
Hi anyone know where I might get the answer to what the FG stands for?

Is it a UK build one?

The letters used to stand for the year of build, but I don't recall seeing TWO letters.

Hi, I know this thread is from last year but was wondering whether you found any info regarding the FG number, our 135 multi power has the number FG25429 which we are told was built in1974 but looking online I can find no reference to the chassis number at all.
Thanks
Terry
