Massey Ferguson Disc

I'm looking at a MF #62 disc, 9-10ft. wide, fair condition. Can anyone give me an Idea on what it's worth? Also Will my Massey Harris 333 be able to handle a disc this wide? I'll only be using it to work my garden.
Thanks Steve

How big is your garden to warrant a 10 foot harrow? There are a lot of handier 6 footers needing to be saved from the iron monguling parasites. I think it would be a struggle in some soil conditions to get most old 4 cylinder masseys to pull a 10 footer ya. BTW, when an implement is as wide or narrower than your tractor tread, then you will know it will fit in anyplace the tractor goes.... the widest thing I ever had was a 9 foot haybine. You find there are lots of 8 feet 11 inch gates out there....

Tom I don't need a 10 FT disc. It's just available and compared to the 6,7, & 8 Ft used disc around here it's in excelent condition. The used smaller ones are junk. I have an 8 Ft that I pulled with the 333 but this winter it grew legs and walked off, so I need to replace it. As for how big a garden, I plant a little over an acre.
Thanks for the reply

Around here if you can buy a disk, not too work or broken, for $100 / ft your doing good. Seen some go cheaper, just a matter of if you are at the right auction at the right time.

Check what the dealers are asking in your area, then, at least, you know the high end of the price range.
