Massey Ferguson fe35 injector pump

I have another pump it?s a CAV DPA 3249F040 serial number R23176ZU on the bottom it says PH 30/500/9/1990p is the firing order the same I know every thing else is as far as fitting,

That pump is for a Perkins 4.108, NOT for the Standard 23C. Why not have the original pump repaired? Or is it too far gone. Early 23C used a fixed phase no advance pump, my 1958 35 has it. The late 23C used a pump with light load advance.

I got that pump from a friend other then knowing it would fit that was all i new about it, I already went through mine and get fuel but no pressure, this all started with it acting like it was running out of fuel and quit and when I checked the filter it was half empty so I put a new fuel pump on it and it ran for a half a day and did the same thing so I found a rebuild video on you tube and got a rebuild kit , and took my time to make sure everything was clean and put back thy way it was,now not enough pressure or fuel to start maybe the pump wore out

That's why I run pumps on my test stand after repair, and make sure they meet spec before sending them out. You could still have something wrong inside..
