Massey Ferguson MF10

Good afternoon all. I have a MF10 SN# 1446 016 076, I was wondering if someone could please tell me what year it was? I got it from a friend who's dad brought it new he thought in the late 60's or early 70's Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. Welcome to the forums. Don't worry about where you posted, things will work out. You will likely see some activity on your posts regardless of where they are. This site actually has a Garden Tractor Forum a bit further down the list.

I believe the 1446 is a model identifier number and the actual serial number is the last six digits. Your # 016076 falls in the 1967 build year using the list on TractorData.

If you research Massey Ferguson Lawn and Garden tractors you will find MF had them built by several other manufacturers and rebadged them as Massey Fergusons.

MF Legacy book #2 shows 1968 starts 14045 and ends 16181 for the MF 10.

I would guess you MF Legacy book is more accurate than TractorData so his would be a 1968 by that, correct? And on a second look at TractorData I crossed the line when I read the list, it matches you Legacy book. Sorry for the error.
