Massey Harris 55 distributor question

Good Day all, discovered the distributor shaft is toast on the 55 I'm working on. Any other Massey Harris use the same distributor?
Pic of my 444 for interest, bought it with the 55 last winter.

Is that one of them Red Deer tractors? Is the ribbon from a pull? Or parade ? U got the 444 to compare those shafts.

Does your distributor have a tag? Take a picture, and maybe we can help. Once I had the make, and model off my tag, I went to eBay and found a bunch of NOS shafts for just about anything (except my IAP 4405 Prestolite)!! steve

Yup that's a Blackfalds Tractor. Got second place in class 3 at Leduc last weekend. Going to Leslieville next weekend.

Unfortunately no tag, hoping to not pull a 444 or 44 shaft out but will go that route next. Manual doesn't show part numbers unfortunately.

Hi Thomas. Im not much help to you on this subject but I do know that the distributor on my 1946 55 is different from my 1953 55. By the way great looking tractor and Im glad that you saved a tractor or maybe more from that collection.
