Massey Harris Pony

Found a 1953 Pony a couple of weeks ago. Made an offer on it yesterday and brought it home today. Going to need a fuel tank clean and carb work and then should fire up. Its one of a two tractor deal. Hope to get the other tractor home tomorrow.

Hey rustred. Yes I seem to finding lots of tractors lately. Not usually after the ones that have already been restored but the two tractors I bought yesterday where only 5 miles from my farm and while I had to pay a bit more than I wanted to I think Im still okay dollar wise. Are you ready to put crop in yet.

Nice looking Pony and to get it with the cultivators is an added bonus for sure!!! They are a fun little tractor!! Great Find!!

Thanks 44 massey. Ill have to do some more research on the cultivator. There is only 4 shanks on it right now but there is brackets on the frame part for 6 and then it would be as wide as the tires almost.

Did my Pony about 15+ years ago!! It was the second Massey Harris I bought when I first started acquiring them!!! It didnt look near as nice as yours when I purchased it!!!! Besides the 3 101s and the Pony I have a 22, 30, 44 and Mustang (23)! Am in the process of refurbishing an 81 and have 33 yet to do!!!

Nice. A few years back they raffled off a restored Pony at the Oakley show. My neighbor's 14 year old son bought one ticket and won it.

we still have snow on the ground and its been pretty cold here for the last week. be a couple more weeks yet.

Both use Continental N62 engine.
