Can someone help me figure out what I am missing on a 1949 Massey Harris Pony throttle linkage?
I can't figure out how the throttle lever attaches to the throttle rod. The lever has a small hole drilled through it and the throttle rod has a ball and socket connection.

I'm presently overhauling my 1949 Pony N-62 Engine......New Valve Guides are now installed...

Mandrel assured installation are the same depth for each Valve Guide ,to the proper depth below top of Engine Block ( 25/32")....as per SERVICE BOOK specifications.

No, I have that, what I think I need is 850411m1, arm for throttle lever.

The Governor control Rod that runs from your steering column forward to the GOVERNOR control ARM is attached to the GOVERNOR control ARM by only a SPRING.
Then a short ROD Governor to Carburetor linkage from the GOVERNOR control arm, attached to a ball on the Governor control arm is attached to the Carburetor Throttle shaft lever assembly
What component/ components is your Tractor missing?

Item # 1 Governor to Carburetor linkage
Item 3....Governor control Rod
Item 4......Governor control Rod SPRING
Item 5.... Carburetor Throttle shaft and lever assembly

I have TWO parts Tractors MH Pony's. The lever you require is RUSTED SOLID to the SHAFT. You may consider replacing the lever and shaft as one component?
