Hi, Could somebody please point me in the right direction for part numbers for the power steering tall stack components pictured in my post i have searched for "132 731 M1" as seen on one of the arms but stuffed it i can turn up anything!? I know the MF175 has this kind of setup what other models have them? I'm really struggling to find the components required to power steer my MF...

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

From the picture it appears that your tractor must be a 50. The part number for the part you are referring to is 182727M91 and is the valve connecting arm assembly. The arm assembly directly below this that connects to the end of the steering cylinder is part #182726M93. The tall supports that these arms fit into is called the pedestal assembly and is part number 182729M91. The steering shaft that slides up through all of these is part and through the pedestal assembly is #182730M2. The parts on the 150 would be the same. Those used on the 65 and 175 are different. The numbers on the parts are often casting numbers and not part numbers so you cannot rely on them as such.

Unfortunately these parts are no longer supplied by AGCO. You will need to find good used parts. It would be easiest to find a complete assembly from a salvaged tractor and install it on yours. Needless to say you will also need the power steering pump and hoses for a 50. Hope this is helpful.

What the model, and serial number of the tractor, gas, or diesel? Sometimes it can make a big difference in parts. What looks like a part number cast into some parts is actually a casting number

Hey Thank you all for your help! Much appreciated!! I was under the belief my machine was a MF65 but at some stage maybe it was yellow? After some severe scrubbing i have revealed my serial number as SNDYW608833 just under it says MF-765. Which from what i can work out was an Industrial version of the 65.

I don't actually have power steering yet but trying to work out how i can replace my pedestal assembly to the same as the picture above. I can source a pump and ram easily enough it's just getting my hands on the rest of the steering setup. What models also have the same as the above setup? MF 50 and MF175 i believe do and very few 65's had power steering. I'll post some more pictures of my actual tractor later in the day.

I agree that it is a 65. I was going by the picture of the steering parts as compared to the parts diagrams. The power steering unit from a 50 should fit a 65 as the front axle support casting is the same.

More Photo's attached of my tractor i'm in Australia any help as to where i maybe able to locate parts locally or abroad would be great! Like i said earlier the ram and pump are the easy bits to source the cast mounting pieces are proving to be difficult... Would i still be able to buy the parts from a Massey dealer? I really don't want to go down the path of a ram down the side of the steering linkage arm if i can avoid it...

Cheers All.

It's a 1964 765 Industrial based off the 65 farm tractor. Your current steering box, front support, axle, etc should be the same. The best bet is to find the complete power steering setup from one tractor rather than trying to piece one together (get the serial number off the donor tractor). They had two different power steering cylinder/spool setups that look almost identical but have some totally different parts.

The parts should be still available from the dealer, and aftermarket. You could adapt a hydrostatic steering setup from a newer tractor thus eliminating the steering box, and the arm from the box to the front (it depends on how much you want to keep it original).

Converted my 65 from manual to power steering, had to find a used tractor. Mine had the same steering arm pictured.
