Maybe a stupid question.

I was looking at the parts drawing for the double clutch for the 3000 here:

and noticed that they have 3 part numbers listed for item number 4, the release bearing, and the first one says that it's specifically for use with the 4 speed transmission.

So my question is:

Why do they have a part listed in the drawing for a double clutch that is only for use with a transmission that cannot use a double clutch?

I suspect a lot of the problems with the online look up originated by the information being transferred from the books was done by computer geeks and not tractor people.
