McCormick 101

Is anyone else out there still using a McCormick 101 combine?

I'll be starting to use mine hopefully in a few weeks when my oats are ready.

I just purchased it this spring and got it back to the farm in early summer.

It sure does take up a lot of room. I will need to build a shed for it within the next year to get the space back in my barn. There are a few others on here that I think have 101's.

Gee that is a heck of a nice machine. You can hardly make the lettering out on ours. I"m 96% certain my grandfather bought it new and it"s always been kept indoors, but it doesn"t look nearly that nice. Still works good for our wheat, barley and oats though. We have a corn head, but me nor my father have ever seen it put on the machine.

I"ll try and get some pictures on here before the weekend.

Where"d you end up finding that gem?
