McCormick No. 8 Plow Question

I am fixing up a McCormick No. 8 Plow to use on the garden and it currently has the standard IH coulters on it. The parts donor plow i recently bought has Lantz Kutter kulters on it and i was thinking about switching with the standards one is this a good idea or a bad idea and also does anyone know what colors the Lantz's should be painted? thanks

Do not know what they were painted were and never used but friend has. They do same as Yetter that we always used and was the only way to plow trash down. I would put them on. If you do not learn a factory collor paint them black, might have been that way new.
