I helped a friend get this McCormick reaper at auction. Here is some pictures it is in very good shape lots of paint and stencling. Is there anybody here knowledgeable about year and model number. Or is there a book to find with information. It has the old IHC logo and McCormick cast in some pieces. The hundred years book is vague unless I didn't look in the right place. Any help is appreciated. The serial number is still clear and you can make out the words level bar machine. We took the rakes off for transport the stencling on those is good also. Yellow pains and pinstripe on the bull wheel visible.

Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that is what is called the Daisy folding reaper and was produced into the 1930s
Farmers still bought them for smaller fields long after the self-tying binder had come of age.

Nice find and excellent condition. I have one quite similar, I narrowed down its production date to 1913 based on the parts book and the the unique casting numbers for that year. The main drive wheel has a casting no. that might narrow down its production date as they changed the wheel different times.
