McCormick W6 seat base ID

I was wondering if anyone could identify what this seat base/suspension would have originally came on or if it was some kind of option. All the seat bases I see are usually the pipe style with a vertical spring in front. This is on my W6 I recently acquired. Thanks.

That is an aftermarket seat but I cannot think of the brand right now. It was not an option from IH.

that is not factory, pretty sure its the Monroe seat set up as someone has fitting the original pan seat to it. those came with a square cushion seat and backrest.

I have the same seat on my H. Somebody once told me it was made by Love Mfg. company????

Knodler. I have one just like it on a WD9.Good seat,better than 'Factory' OEM.

It looks like it is a Joy-Rider seat suspension. Thanks for the help! I found a picture of an old advertisement for it while doing a google search. Made by the “Fleischer & Schmid Corporation”. I need to do some repair to the pivot at the shock.

Yep. Joy Rider. I have one in my WD9.
They are nice in they are adjustable for driver weight.
