i'm putting a new mcv pump as well as rebuilding the mcv with new springs and o rings on my 1086. i cant seem to get the flow divider valve to come out of the mcv can anyone tell me how to get it to come out? thanks very much

You can use air to push them out but be careful not to get hurt when it comes loose hitting you or hold a rag over it with a few layers to pad it. I usually take the valve bodies out before taking them off by having somebody either turn the engine over and catch them, or starting with shut down soon as it starts On my 806 I just worked them out when I replaced the springs and pieces. I don't remember what all got changed in there now was a few years ago.

Thanks for your reply. So far the rest of the rebuild is going good except for taking out this valve. It doesn't seem to have any o rings and the spring can be replaced without taking it out so do I even need to take it out? Could it possibly be stuck, the problem I was having with the tractor is it won't do anything without almost half the throttle on. If I do need to get it out do I put the rest of the mcv back together and put the air hose where the number 11 arrow is? Also would it be possible to put it all back together put it back on the tractor except for this and run the tractor to blow it out thanks I really appreciate the help
