MCV Question

What is the best way to remove the MCV from the tractor? I have all the bolts out, except for the pump bolts. Is there a way to jack it off with bolts? It must be doweled, and it is tight currently. Any suggestions? Thanks

Yep , they stick on real good . Use a stiff bladed putty knife to break the seal of the gskt. DO NOT LOOSE THE LITTLE SPRING on the sump check plug down in the lower right hand corner .

Great Vet, Thanks! I had worked on the MCV and lost the spring - pretty foolish, and didn't realize until she did want to shift properly with the amplifier. I am going to use a ball point pen spring. I was told by my local IH guru that it will work fine. Again Vet thanks. Love to read your posts!
