Can't find book which fitting do you grease on a md farmall water pump

not sure what u mean by that, they should be staring right at you on the left side of the pump. one is in open air and one usually has a cap on it. give each one ONE shot ! once a year. same as the distributor. of course hrs. matters.

Its already in black and white. There is a lot of grease in one pump or 2 max. Its not like a beginner greasing tie rods and waiting for the grease to pop the dust caps. I been greasing these pumps for half a century actually more. One guy that was here kept referring he did everything for decades. Plus there is a feel for it when greasing.

water pump was replaced probly 10 years ago, only ocasional use going to plow day the 28 october i rember the original one had 1 with a screw on cap the other did not i will gently give each 1 gentle pump .

Yes, soon as you feel back pressure in the handle, stop. Easy as that.
