Mechanical lifting springs

I have a 1940 Farmall A with the mechanical lifting implement. I need to replace two of the three springs and having a hard time finding them. I don't know the model but the two springs I need are 8.5 " long plus the hook on one end, OD is 1.5" the ID is 1" wire Diameter 1/4" has a hook on one end the other end is open which a hub threads into so one can adjust the tension. Any ideas or advice?

McMaster-Carr has a WIDE variety of springs, but finding a spring with an open end that will EXACTLY match the inserts you have will be challenging.

Is this what you are looking for?

If you check the Farmall board and tell them that you need a Spring for the rear manual lift you may have better luck than asking about "mechanical lifting implement".

Or do you need the front cultivator springs? Hubs screw into both ends of those.

Looks like the one that lifts the Allis Chalmers plow I got.
I seen a very similar spring on Westin snow plows for blade safety release .

this link is for a local spring manufacturer , they have been very helpful to me locating springs that they produce that I have modified and used. Need the wire diameter, inside diameter and length.

Thanks for all the info, But I did have Some luck at AG States, the spring isn't exactly what looking for but what they had I can make work.
