Cosidering one of these for the shop when I get out of this sand pit called Afghanistan. Anybody have or used one? Comments or suggestions..Thanks guys, Dave

I see the one in the link is a complete package but harbor freight has the cabinet only for half the money and I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to attach a shopvac to it for ventilation.

For a US made complete unit that is not a bad price. I have an old one that is similar to this and I use it all of the time.

The cheaper HF units like the Stephen linked to have problems leaking. Friend bought one after he had used mine. He hates it. I will have to show him this one.

Thanks for your service to your country. My Grand Son is over there right now. He rotates home in April. He is not going to reenlist. He says he does not want to be around when the military budgets get slashed.

Just to be fair to the greensuiters...I am not in the military, I work for the DOD as a civillian.....But thanks for the wishes...Yes this one right in the price range I am looking at..Gonna do a old N series and a '66 CJ5...Gonna be busy when I get done here....I am looking forward... :D

Read the reviews on the HF ones. There are TONS of helpful comments on how to assemble them so they don't leak. They also talk about a nozzle/foot pedal upgrade to make it flow more sand and flow better.

I would personally get the next size bigger if I bought the TP unit. My neighbor has one and would HIGHLY recommend it.

Spend the extra money and get this one. Harbor
freight ain't no comparison to Tip tools. You will
need the vacuum and get the HEPPA Filter. I have
had one about 10 years and use it all the time. I
have been thru 1 Tip vac and 2 shop vacs. I went
back to the Tip vac to get the better filtration.
Use Black Beauty or a similar coal by product if
you are blasting anything with a lot of rust. Yow
will need extra plastic shields to protect the
glass.
Better cabinet
