Blew a hose on the MF 100 loader and the pictured fitting is on the end of the hose. Hose fab shop local doesn’t have this fitting. What is it? Any recommendations?

Thanks!
Bill

Lift cylinder right?

There is a very long thread from a guy that found the ?Parker part number. I'm not sure if it was even this site.

I replaced mine with an ORB 90 degree adapter. Maybe a dash8. Tractor Supply had one to adapt to NPT.

Here is a link to what I think is the thread Stan mentioned. It has some info on the brands and names they use for those fittings. The info may help your hose fab shop locate some.

Thread on MF hose fittings

Using an ORB adapter to JIC or pipe thread, to use common hose fittings has worked for some. If the tube is good, some manufacturers make hose fittings with compression nuts. You cut the tube at the end of the old hose fitting and put it into the compression fitting. Some other companies make hose ends you can braze/weld the cutoff tube into. I have brazed/welded tube ends into one end of steel pipe couplings or hose ends tomake things work in a pinch. Some of those hoses are available through Massey if you get a part number and have your dealer search

Jim, that's the thread!

I believe my cylinders had a chamfer at the start of the threads. I didn't measure it or check what the dimension should be. They have been in there a few years without any issues.

Before you try using the compression fitting make sure you mic the OD of the tube. I tried using compression fittingss with the power steering hoses, but the tubes were something like 0.020" too big.

I haven't had much luck with any loader parts from AGCO. They maybe worth a shot.

I would just use the ORB adapter. I'm not positive that is the correct size. I'm going by memory.

That fitting is for a square o-ring and is common on MF tractors. It may be the same as what is called a short GM fuel line. My brother-in-law has one of those hydraulic tools with the dies for making double flare brake line fitting and other common fittings. The tool can make that flare end. Check at a local place that does automotive brakes, the tool is very common. among mechanic that do brakes.
