Howdy all,
I have a slow, but steady leak of hydraulic oil running out from the steering area by the foot throttle. I assume this is coming from the hydrostatic steering pump (either an O ring, or hose connection).
My question before i start fooling with this myself, is how much pressure are the connections under, and how do i relieve it? Is it safe to just disconnect it? I have the service manual and it does not say anything about relieving pressure, so i wanted to make sure that there isn't an understood step here that i'm overlooking. Is it only under pressure while running?
Thanks!
