Will a 6 cylinder perkins from a Combine bolt in place of the V-8? in a 1155?

You will need a LOT of six cylinder parts from an 1135 model that are different from the 1155..

You would be a lot better of to find a V8 perkins from a combine. I did that once and it was enough trouble. I even had to use the tractor injection pump. The combine pump wasn't compatible with the tractor linkage. I think the only thing I used was the long block. I had to have an adapter made in a machine shop for the front pulley.

What is wrong with the 540? You can get rebuild kits for them.
