MF 1339 discbine

Looking at one. If I understand correctly, its made by New Idea. NI had 2 models , a red one and a gray one. 5209's I believe. One had a cutter bar with one continuos drive shaft and the other had a more modular cutter bar which was easier to fix if there was problems. Does any one know which type of cutter bar this 1339 MF would have or am I totally mixed up on the ancestry of this MF unit. Thanks

I don't know,but did you go to Agcopartsbooks and search 1339?

Not sure of what cutter bar but it would have to be the same as a red New Idea. Probably don't help much.

A 1339 would have the as you say "more modular cutter bar", similar to the later model New Idea models.
