mf 135 fuel issue

I have posted previously about this issue, and the answer was bleed the system. My 135 with a perkins and cav pump has a fuel issue. While operating, it shut down as if it ran out of fuel. I needed to change the head gasket so I left it until i was ready to tackle it. After replacing the head gasket and bleeding the system, I am not getting any fuel to the injectors. I have bled to the pump and do not have any air bubbles. I feel there are three possiblities: the gear may have came off the front of the injector pump, the injector pump has failed, or the fuel lift pump has failed. What do ya'll think.

Hi,
Silly question perhaps but relevant. Is the stop control fully in? On top of the pump the stop rod is connected to a little bar which in turn is attached to the pump stop spindle with a nut and washer on top. Is the nut tight enough to ensure that the spindle turns with it?
If you are able to produce two jets of fuel from the bleed screws on the pump it would certainly indicate that the lift pump is ok.
As to the pump gear coming off, extremely unlikely.. Presumably you have slackened the inj pipe nuts and cannot get anything at all out.
At this stage I would say its a fuel problem rather than pump.
