Has anyone else had problems finding cooling system thermostats that function correctly.
I just purchase a new 180 degree one and also had a few
used ones laying around.
Decided to test in heated water. I suspended them where covered by water, but not touching the bottom.
Brought the temperature up slowly with a good thermometer in the water.
None of them even started to open until after 200 degrees.
Some of these I just purchased off ebay, but the last one came from NAPA.
