MF 150 shift

When shifting out of gears on my mf 150 it seems like it’s stuck in there and I have to push pretty hard to get it out, also the clutch petal seems soft and sensitive. Any adjustments for this or is it time for a new clutch?

Honestly, none of your description makes much sense. Hard and soft are opposite of each other. Clutches operate on how FAR the pedal is pushed, not how hard the pedal is pushed. As in, if the pedal is bottomed out, pushing harder is just pushing harder.

Have things changed recently? If so, how? Pedal takes more/less/the same effort to push? Does it feel as if it is slipping?

There is an adjustment procedure detailed in the owner's manual. I can't help you with that because I'm not a Massey guy, but in general it involves setting the clutch pedal free travel. From there depending on what all the tractor is equipped with, 2-stage clutch for "live" PTO, and/or multipower, other linkages will need to be adjusted.

There is nothing you can "adjust" on the clutch itself. If it's slipping, it's shot. Replacement is the only solution.

Yeah I may not have explained that good. When in gear and I go to neutral I have to push the gear shifter hard to get it out of gear. Also when I push the clutch pedal down it is feels like it has no give on it, just very easy to push down like it’s not doing anything, but it is activating the clutch.

Nothing has changed, the pedal has been like that but not the hard shifting out of gears.
