I recently had my tractor in the shop to fix the fuel system, it worked good for a bit but now it has no power and is sluggish on the throttle, I can"t work it in high gear as it bogs down, the shop said they fixed the metering valves and replaced the fuel filters, I have tried about everything and am not sure what else to do, can anyone help? (The original reason for going to the shop was because it would not stay running for more than a minute or so...)

Sounds like either the new filters are dirty already, or there is a restriction somewhere else in the ine. I'd look in the tank and see if there's a bunch of stuff in there.

Our Oliver 1855 did the same thing a few years ago when we first bought it. I changed the filter when we got it, and within 50-100 hours it was doing just as you describe. I replaced the filter and all was well again. I figure it just had a bunch of crud in the tank when we got it, because our other tractors have never had such problems with the filters.

You might have to change the shut off valve for your fuel tank. There is a very fine screen filter inside your tank attached to the shutoff valve, that could be pluged. I had the same thing happen with my Fordson Super Major a few years ago. Hope this helps.
