MF-20 loader backhoe

Does anybody know if a MF model 222 backhoe will fit on a model 20 loader? My loader frame is MF 32. It has rear pockets about 39" apart. This might get me into a hoe without large expense. Thanks for any help.

Don't know specifically, but if it's from the same era, it'll likely fit. Those loaders were pretty much the same size
frame but with changes in valves, cylinders and linkage as far as I've been able to tell from the manual and 2 different
ones we have. The basic tractor frame they all fit on seems similar too in the 20/30/40 size. Some measurements will tell
for sure if you have access to the unit.

Thanks MKinON. I went ahead and agreed to the purchase, even though it is 4 hours away and I haven't seen it. I am working with a guy I trust who is a collector of Allis, The backhoe is MF although mounted on an Allis tractor and we got the whole rig for under $1000; I'll get the hoe and he will keep the tractor. Even if I have to spend some bucks on adapting the hoe to my loader, I will have a working loader/backhoe for under $6000. That's CDN, so deduct 30% if you are comparing to US. I'll post a photo once I get it all done, probably in March or April.

The 222 backhoe is listed in the same group as the 54 backhoe which is a factory option backhoe for the industrial 20. If you go to agcopartsbook.com and look at the parts book as a guest you can search for the 54 / 222 backhoe parts book and in the book you will see mounting kit for MF20 and MF40 with cast axle and 32 or 34 loader. You will either have to make something like this up or find it at a wrecker.
