Just purchased a 1965 MF202.

Question: The PTO rear has a plate over it?

Can i remove the plate and connect to a PYO ?

There are a number of internal parts you would need. Does it have a 3 point hitch? You would be well advised to find a donor tractor with complete rear section which would have all the parts you need. There are a few models that would work, the most common one being a 35.

What's a PYO?

Thanks,

There no 3-point on it.

My thoughts were adding an additional Hyd. Pump at the PTO for the already attached Davis 210 backhoe.

Looks like I'm gonna have a donor from bellhousing to rear off a 204 that had a Z134 with cracks upper and lower on the block. I'm in mid state Ga. if one is needed.

(quoted from post at 15:27:43 07/13/18) Type error >>>>>>>>>> PTO

I kind of thought so, but I've seen guys on these tractor forums use three letters for acronyms for things that I had no idea what it was. That's why I asked.

What does the backhoe use now for a pump? Most backhoe setups use a hydraulic pump use one that comes off the front of the engine.
If there is no 3pt you would need quite a few pieces to go inside to add a pto.

The backhoe is currently using the front pump for the loader. Problem is the backhoe does not respond properly, Very slow and some cylinders very weak.

Note: Loader has 2 small leaks.

My next test will be by-passing the loader and connect the pressure line directly into the backhoe.

If that works, I will install a Single Selector Valve Cross from Surplus Center.
Thanks for responding

How does the loader respond? Is there a selector valve on the loader arm, near the controls to disable the loader and send pressure to the backhoe or can both be run simultaneously?

Sounds like you may have some cylinders on the backhoe that are bypassing. Mine aren't terrible but the main boom cylinder does leak down within a few seconds of inactivity. I was able to find a kit to rebuild it but haven't had a chance to do that yet. I rebuilt the control valves last year (maybe year before, can't remember) and that helped a bit too.
