I have a workbull backhoe and need to replace several hoses. I can't seem to get a wrench on the fittings because the clearance between the cylinder body and a metal tube next to the fittings. See Pictures.
Anyone know how to remove the metal tube so I can get at the hose fittings? Thanks for the help

Put the bucket on the ground so the weight is off the cylinder. Unpin that end of the cylinder, lift it up, and block it out off the side plates. Perhaps that will expose the sides of the hoses better.

I have a similar arrangement on my 202 loader. They are O ring Boss. I cut my hoses off and used a socket and impact wrench. Mine would have never come out with an open end wrench.

I'll see if I can find a picture.

But then, how did you tighten the new hoses back in place?

I was able to get the hoses off using vice grips and I was able to put the new ones on with a open wrench with just enough room to spare. The problem with the old ones was that over the years the fitting was
worn down by wrenches taking them off and on as well as corrosion. The new ones had perfect fittings that the wrench fit perfectly.

And to compound the problem as in the hoses pictured, those fittings look like they have no swivel to them so, one must get the other end free so the whole hose can turn with those fittings.
