MF 220 Backhoe

Hi
I wondering does anyone know anything about the sideshift on the Backhoe.

Does it just go manually or does it use hydraulics, also any information on the Sideshift locking rams that lift the plates up and down, I am assuming to stop it from moving.

I have bought 2 manuals already but they are not for the MF 220 as I originally thought, as it had MF40 written on the side.
