MF 240 draft control

I've got a question: On the mf240, GB model the draft control lever is mounted by a single
bolt the hyd cylinder, the small mounting plate has about a 1/2 of slot movement before being
tightened and locked in place. In the photo it appears to be an alignment mark on the mounting
plate, at the backside of the lever...with draft and position controls fully down the draft control
can be placed anywhere the mentioned securing bolt allows, with 1/2 of slot travel.
Has anyone got a service reference on the lever position?, is that reference mark? etc.
Its not my machine, so service manual available in a reasonable time-frame, ..arrived here with the two control rods jammed and bent the section they pass
through, and a broken draft lever return spring, 3pt arms jammed hard up...IDK what and how this stuff happens...:) scared to ask sometimes.
I checked Big Deans cd, and its close but not on this model to be exact on where to secure the lever/bolt.
Tks
