MF 245.... adjustable wide front?

Just picked up a 1978 MF 245. I know I can flip the rims around for more width. Is the front width adjustable as well? Looks like you remove two bolts and the clamp for the tie rod and it should slide out to another setting. Am I correct? Thanks for any info.
