MF 245 front mount hydraulic pump

I have a '79 MF 245 equipped with the 232 loader. Tractor has the front mount hydraulic pump using the flex style shaft.

Can anyone tell me the process of removing the pump? I would like to be able to take the loader off and on and the pump is keeping me from doing that since I can't figure out how to remove the shaft.

The pump should just slide off the shaft (it should be splined) to remove the drive shaft from the flexible coupler just unscrew it (it is left hand thread).
