MF 255 Tach Drive

Massey 255. I bought a new tach drive 535126m93 to replace 535126m92. It is supposed to fit directly. It will not quite go all the way in. Looks like it hits that washer behind the paddle driver. No way to get the washer off without destroying things. Everybody in the world claims this will work. Anyone else have this problem?

If it didn’t cost $234 it is probably not an AGCO part. Which means it is very likely not built correctly. Land of almost right deal.

it is an aftermarket. I went ahead and fixed my old one. I should’ve done that in the first place. The cap kept backing out and letting the paddle come out of the end of the camshaft. I roughed it up with sandpaper and JB welded a cap on it so it cannot back out anymore
