MF 285 injectors

I would like to service the fuel injectors on my MF 285, can anyone tell me if its customary to just clean them or should I change the tips only or what ?
This will be first time doing this, any hints and tips would be appreciated.

I clean and reset lots of injectors, and if they pass well on the pop tester replace gaskets as needed re-use them. If injectors have high hours use, or engine is being rebuilt, or they fail the pop test test tips can be replaced if the main injector body is good. Old tips should be replaced if the needle seat drips or return oil is too high, or if any holes are plugged and can't be cleaned.

that sounds like I could take them out and bring them in to a repair shop for testing ?
