MF 35 Hi-lo stuck

hi all, I’m having a little problem with my shifters on my MF35. It seems to go in all gears correctly but the hi-lo does not seem right it won’t go into hi/ lo. It feels like the shifter is hitting something to prevent it. It’s like it is stuck in between hi/lo. Any idea what the problem could be or where I should look. Thanks in advance

Possibly a FAULTY PIN /SPRING on the H/L Shifter RAIL???

Thank you for the info. None of them look like an easy fix 😜 but it points me in the right direction Thanks again

Unless someone suggests a miracle cure......I have removed the Top of the transmission cover....steering column....dash as one component, one lift..
I'm the Owner of a 1963 MF 35 X since new. NO multi power...6 speed,(3 speed with a H/L selector) live PTO (Dual clutch assembly)
Sometimes, there are no short cuts to get to the problem.
If and when, you happen to inspect the H/L Planetary....you may be in for a surprise....
There was NO indication of a problem. I inspected the planetary, as I was all ready into, the Transmission..
Your Tractor...your $$$$$'s...
Bob..
