MF 40

Looking at a Massey 40 pretty much just a parts tractor , but can t find one listed in the ID site
here or parts site here , it doe s have some things on it that look like they would work on My 50. It
has a pach in the block and engine is locked up. any ideas ?? Thanks Don

The 40 is a Ferguson not a Massey Ferguson and except for the hood and paint they were the same as the Massey Harris/Ferguson 50. They were originally painted a white/beige color. MF as with all manufacturers reuses model numbers, the reason I say this is because the industrial models also used 30, 40 and 50. So it can get confusing.
