MF 50 draft/lift control spring adjustment

Ill start putting this back together in a month. The picture is how I removed the control levers. The spring tension looks to be adjustable, is there a process to adjust it up right?

I have a MF 35 with the same design....

Info pics are all I have as I'm out of the Country for another three months..
Pic from YT indicates you should adjust and check components properly. Not like some YT user posted.. must have
neglected to..

I found it in my workshop service manual, thats quite a process, now I need to find a 500# weight!
