MF 50 id plate question

HI all , just became a member and have a question. I've had my trusty MF 50 tractor (Daisy) for some time now and ran into a problem last year where the clutch will not disengage. I tried several methods to free it up to no avail. I will be replacing the clutch soon and trying to figure out what year it is . There is a tag on the right side below the bat tray, all the info i have is that it should be either on the dash near the gauges or on the left side below battery tray. I've attached a pic of the tag . Can anyone tell what year this is and if it is a correct tag. I will also add the number on the block Thx in advance

The C may stand for High Clearance. The G is Gasoline. and the M should mean dual stage clutch. Do those things sound right for your tractor?

The tag location you have was used for some models around that time.

yes, that sounds correct, any other ideas for freeing that clutch?
A belated welcome to the forums.

You need to tell what you have tried doing to free it up before anyone can suggest any other method.

Have you pulled the inspection plate off the bottom of the clutch housing and looked up inside to see if perhaps there is a mouse condo? That can seize things up hard.

Posting a picture of the inside can give an idea of what you are up against, however splitting it and fixing it right is often the best course of action.

i went out and took some pics. No mice nests but this bearing marked in the attachment is moving around, not sure if it's the release bearing. Would soaking with diesel possibly free it up. I tried spraying wd 40 , also tied a chain to a tree and popped the clutch in various gears , and tried pushing against a tree to try and free up, no go

That is the release bearing, aka throwout bearing, and it can move around a bit.

With the tractor shut off, have someone work the clutch pedal full stroke while you are underneath watching to see if the fingers of the pressure plate are being moved by the release bearing. How much free play does the pedal have? Are you familiar with pedal free play?

Do you have the Operator's Manual for your MF50? Do you have the Service Manual for it?

Clutch plate is probably stuck to the flywheel.
